Planetary Assault Systems is Luke Slater’s most influential pseudonym leaving its definite mark on more than 15 years of Techno history.

Luke’s next release is a fresh new double pack under the Planetary Assault System moniker. Due out on his own Mote-Evolver label, double vinyl ‘Straight Shooting’ is due out in March. The 6-track release follows a recent wave of big wax from the Slater camp. Last year saw and essential reissue of his seminal debut album for Peacefrog, ‘The Electric Funk Machine’. His The 7th Plain alias went solo on A-TON with the ‘Chronicles’ box set.

The first tease of ‘Straight Shooting’ promises cosmic, synth-laiden techno.  ‘If an extra-terrestrial invasion of planet Earth was on the agenda, no doubt Slater would be appointed soundtrack composer in chief’, the bio beams. As the initial transmission ‘Engage Now’ his the webs today, it’s clear that authentic techno still reigns supreme.
