Animistic Beliefs Announce Debut Album

Dutch duo Animistic Beliefs seem to be the next big thing that your local promoter should book right away. Rooted in performance, they formed the project after playing live together, for the love of it. Marvin was playing a modular event and Linh came with a TB-303 clone and a TR-606 drummachine, the rest was history. Armed with a road-ready rig, the two dish out an infectious wave of electro while exploring the boundaries of modular. We heard that they were finishing an album during a chat earlier this year. ‘Mindset:Reset’ was announced this week with a white-hot single your dance floor needs.

Dubbed ‘a contemporary electro record’, the 8-track album is bound to explore the depths of synth-fueled electro. If the first single is any indication, we’re up for a tracklist packed with late-night anthems. 5 minutes of acid-laden grit, ‘Succubi Island’ is a trippy analog tune that hits. Let’s just say the vamp crew is definitely gonna dig this release. The album is clearly a culmination of trial and evolution in the club and on the airwaves.

Due out on the 10th of September, Animistic Beliefs return to Solar One Music. Home to recent releases from the likes of Jensen Interceptor, DJ Skull, and label-founder The Exaltics; the duo fit right in. Keep watch for more news on how to get your hands on the release.
