Amsterdam has always been a city rich with electronic culture, but over the past decade, Amsterdam Dance Event has solidified the Dutch capital as the business hub for European dance. Known for running multiple festivals at once, the Initiative of Buma event ‘addresses business, cultural and technological trends’ in the dance music world all which throwing one hell of a party.
2018 saw the weeklong festival growing yet again as 2,500 artists and 550 speakers led day and night events for everyone. With venues sprinkled all around the city, ADE has picked up where WMC left off as an industry-heavy even where work and play intertwine.

centreof the global electronic music industry and the home base for music enthusiasts. Our conference and festival activities showcase what is happening around the world, but should also be a reflection of how creative, innovative, vibrant and inclusive our hometown is.”
With the first news since October’s wrap up, ADE will take place the 16th to 20th October, 2019. The organizers are expecting around 400,000 national and international visitors for the 24th edition. It’s not too early to snag those discount flights, so mark your calendars for this one.
