Polish duo Private Press clock in for their sophomore release on Rekids next week and the early feedback is very solid. Just over a year of their debut on Radio Slave’s essential imprint, Adam Brocki and Jan Wóycicki bring the heat with more big room techno.
Featuring punchy percussion and clean synths, the four-track record is a versatile release ready for clubs and festivals alike. With dance floor support from Mosca, Ben Sims, Charlotte de Witte, Jennifer Cardini, Ryan Crosson, and more; the release is already off to a strong start. A2 ‘Paper Clips’ is getting rinsed the most thus far, but gritty industrial synths and ominous basslines of B1 ‘Wet Moon’ takes the cake for me.
With a packed summer with more releases on the way, this duo is well on their way to a growing catalog of crate essentials. Strong support from Radio Slave’s crew is just another nod for the boys. Keep watch.
Private Press ‘This Is Not Happening EP’ drops on Rekids on 17th May 2019.
